Tennyson Players present the comedy “Seaside Dreams”, their modern language adaptation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Come with us to 1953 Mablethorpe, where befuddled lovers wander the dunes (or are they the dunes?), a stage hypnotist creates chaos, a showbiz couple scrap over a child prodigy and inept workmen present a play for the dodgy mayor’s banquet. What happens when the tide goes out? Tennyson Players is a long-established local group of adults and children. We are proud to be part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages project. And we can sing and dance, too! |
