Bathing Beauties Festival
Join us at the 2013 Festival Launch Event in Sutton on Sea on Friday between 7pm and 9pm for an evening of music, stalls and entertainment. The Festival starts on Saturday from 10am in Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea. Please see the What's On page for more details.
The beach, the promenade and the beach huts come alive during the Festival with amazing creative experiences. The beach huts are turned into mini art and craft galleries. The beach becomes the perfect canvas and backdrop for contemporary art installations, sculpture and much more. The three mile promenade from Mablethorpe to Sutton on Sea is filled with an array of weird and wonderful performances and inter-active activities for all ages.
Follow the "Bathing Beauties Beach Hut Trail" along the promenade to view the original "Bathing Beauty Beach Huts" (more information on the Bathing Beauties page) and for the more serious coastal art and architecture fans you can follow "The Structures on the Edge" trail down to Anderby creek taking in the new "bird hide hut" and the "Cloud Bar" viewing platform.
